As I tended to my garden this morning, the parallels between leadership and gardening became strikingly clear. Both involve nurturing, overcoming obstacles, acknowledging achievements, and making timely decisions.
Gardening has always held a special place in my heart, offering a tranquil escape and moments of profound reflection, especially during my early morning routines.
Attending Prof Lesley Dobrée’s coaching session as part of the EntrepreneurialLeadership program was a privilege. The analogy of leadership to gardening deeply resonated with me, highlighting the continual need for nurturing, patience, and deliberate growth in leadership.
Embracing this program has been a rewarding experience, and I am sincerely appreciative of the journey it has set me on.
